WHEN A GLOBAL MUSIC ICON AND A LUXURY TEQUILA HOUSE COLLIDE, YOU GET THE FASTEST-SELLING SPIRITS LAUNCH OF 2025.
In September 2025, Karol G and Casa Dragones released 200 Copas—a premium Añejo Cristalino inspired by her chart-topping anthem. As the designer behind this collaboration, I crafted every visual touchpoint: from the midnight-blue packaging adorned with her iconic tattoo to the digital campaign that dominated social feeds.
The result? A sold-out phenomenon that generated 15 million views in days and redefined what a celebrity spirits partnership could be.

/ PROJECT OVERVIEW
The Challenge
Create a premium tequila experience that honors Karol G’s global anthem “200 Copas” while maintaining Casa Dragones’ reputation for uncompromising luxury. The brand needed to resonate with both the artist’s fanbase and discerning tequila connoisseurs—striking a balance between festive energy and refined elegance.
My Role
As the lead designer on this project, I worked under Creative Directors Mishele Wells and Rutherford Rodger to bring this collaboration to life. From concept to launch, I was responsible for translating the creative vision into tangible assets across digital, packaging, and experiential touchpoints—ensuring every detail met the exacting standards of both Casa Dragones and Karol G’s teams.
The Approach
Every design decision was intentional: merging the celebratory spirit of “200 Copas” with the sophisticated aesthetic Casa Dragones is known for. Through close collaboration between both creative teams, we crafted a visual identity that felt authentic to Latin culture while maintaining the premium positioning required for a luxury spirits launch. The result was a cohesive brand experience that resonated across markets—from Mexico City to Los Angeles.

FROM PARIS TO SOLD-OUT SHELVES: A LAUNCH THAT SET THE TONE
/ Crazy Horse Paris
The Official Unveiling at Crazy Horse Paris
In September 2025, Karol G took the stage at one of the world’s most legendary cabarets to announce 200 Copas by Casa Dragones. During her eight-show residency “The Tropical Nights of Ivonny Bonita” at Crazy Horse Paris, the artist unveiled the collaboration to a packed house—creating an immediate cultural moment that resonated far beyond the venue’s iconic red velvet walls.
A Cultural Moment, Not Just a Product Launch
This wasn’t your typical spirits announcement. By choosing Crazy Horse—a symbol of Parisian luxury and artistry—the launch positioned 200 Copas as more than celebrity merchandising. It was a statement: this tequila belonged in the world of premium experiences, celebrated moments, and cultural significance. The buzz generated from that Paris stage carried through to record-breaking sales and millions of social media impressions in the days that followed.
